Aeration
Aeration is a technique to aid water movement within the lawn. Lawn aeration puts lots of small holes in the lawn to improve water movement and soil breathing. Aeration is used because over time the soil becomes compacted and this has serious effects on the health of your lawn. The benefits of aeration includes:
- Improved drainage and drought resistance
- Desirable grasses will become dominant
- Increases microbial activity within the lawn
- With top dressing, the soil can be improved
